Stage-3: Coronavirus community spread

The 3rd stage of coronavirus is the stage of community spread. We call it community spread because in this stage the virus spreads towards the community. This is the stage where a person who neither has any travel history to affected countries nor has he been exposed to an infected person, still test positive. In other words, we can say that this is the stage where an infected person doesn't know or he is unable to identify that from where he has picked up the virus. Countries like Italy, Singapore, and Spain are on the 3rd stage.

Now we will discuss how these countries reached on the third stage of this pandemic disease:-

Stage:2

In this stage  the relatives or acquaintances to those who test positive after close contact with the infected person. At this stage, fewer people are affected, the source of the virus is known and is, therefore, easier to perform contact tracing and contain the spread via self-quarantining. Countries like India are currently in this stage.

Stage:1

This is the stage when the person who had traveled to an infected country and test positive. At this stage, there is no spread of the disease one to another.
