Haldighati Yuva Mahotsav: Everything You Should Know
In connection with the successful organization of the divisional-level Haldighati Youth Festival, which will be held on May 5-6 at Nathdwara, a meeting was organized in the collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of Rajasthan Youth Board President Sitaram Lamba.

Chairman Lamba stated during the meeting that for the divisional-level Haldighati Youth Festival to be held in Nathdwara to be a success, all district-level officers, the district collector, and district-level officers of the associated districts must work in collaboration. He stated that maximum registration of participants in the festival's various competitions should be done.
On Monday, Rajsamand District Collector Neelabh Saxena convened a meeting of concerned district-level officials at New Cottage Nathdwara to plan the divisional-level Haldighati Youth Festival, which will be held in Rajsamand on the 5th and 6th of May. He inspected the requirements of the participants, cultural programs, the main function venue, food arrangements, and the location for organizing the competitions, and directed the concerned officials to make the necessary arrangements. He instructed the officials that the deadline for registering participants for the festival's successful organization is May 3, so make every effort to complete as many registrations as possible during this time.
On May 5-6, 2023, the Divisional Level (Udaipur Division) Haldighati Youth Festival will be held in Nathdwara, Rajsamand.
Haldighati Yuva Mahotsav will be held on May 5 and 6, starting at 9 a.m., at Damodardas Stadium, Lalbagh, Nathdwara (Rajsamand).
The Haldighati Youth Festival aims to preserve, promote, and encourage the state's lost and rare folk art and culture. The youth festival's main goal is to encourage selected young talented artists and to provide excellent facilities for them to improve their abilities in related arts, as well as to promote rural traditional arts.
In addition, the main goal of Haldighati Yuva Mahotsav is to find talented young artists, provide them with training, prepare them for excellent performance at the national level, make them self-sufficient, and develop their talents in various arts and artistic fields among the youth. To find new talent and build a database of young artists.
The Haldighati Yuva Mahotsav is going to be organized by the Rajasthan Youth Board (Youth Affairs and Sports Department of Rajasthan) in association with Udaipur Division and Rajsmand District Administration at Nathdwara, Rajsamand.
Only artists from the Udaipur Division are required to register.

Skilled young artists who are considering participating in the Haldighati Youth Festival may register on the Rajasthan Youth Board's website culturefestival.rajasthan.gov.in. The deadline for the Haldighati Youth Festival registration is May 3rd. Participants between the ages of 15 and 29 can apply to participate in the Haldighati Yuva Mahotsav.
The following Facilities will be provided to the participants during the Haldighati Yuva Mahotsav 2023 at Nathdwara -
- The district administration will make necessary facilities available to participants in the competition.
- The Rajasthan Youth Board will issue certificates to all participants. First, second, and third place in each category will receive attractive prizes.
- Participants in the competition will be provided with lodging and food.
The Rajasthan Youth Board is hosting the "Haldighati Youth Festival" on the 5th and 6th of May in the Rajsamand district. Youth from six districts in the Udaipur division will participate: Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, and Banswara.
The Opening Ceremony of the Haldighati Yuva Festival will take place on May 5th, 2023 from 10 AM onwards at Vishwas Swaroopam, 120 FT Road, Trinetra Circle, Nathdwara.

The Closing Ceremony of the Haldighati Yuva Festival will take place on May 6th, 2023 from 3 PM onwards at Vishwas Swaroopam, 120 FT Road, Trinetra Circle, Nathdwara.

Painting, Group folk dance, Group folk singing, Drama, and Classical dance (Kathak, Bharat Natyam, Odissi, Manipuri, Kachipuri), Classical Solo Singing (Hindustani Singing), Proclamation, Classical Instruments (Sitar, Flute, Tabla, Mridang, Veena, Harmonium, Guitar, Phad, Ravana Hatha, Rammat, Algoja), Mandana, Murals, Langha Manganihar, Puppet, Khadtal, Morchang, and Bhapang competitions will be organized during two days of Haldighati Yuva Mahotsav.
