Who Motivated to Build the Pratap Gaurav Kendra? / How Pratap Gaurav Kendra Come to Its Existence?  

Pratap Gaurav Kendra aims to provide extensive knowledge about the Mewar ruler Maharana Pratap's history and accomplishments.  Shri Sohan Singh Ji, the veteran Sangh Pracharak is the project's primary motivator. Shri Sohan Singh Ji, who desired that Maharana Pratap become young people’s idol.

Certain significant steps must be taken to ensure that the gallantry of Maharana Pratap of Mewar is known not just in Mewar, but also throughout the nation and the world. He presented this suggestion to the Sangh's senior officers, and the Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Committee was founded in Udaipur as a result. Following discussions with historians, it was agreed to establish a centre displaying precise facts about Maharana Pratap's life, history, and Maharana Pratap's victory in the Haldighati war, which became Pratap Gaurav Kendra.

His vision was realized through the formation of the Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Samiti in 2002, and the purchase of a piece of land measuring 25 bigha in 2007. On November 28, 2016, RSS Sarsangchalak Mohan Rao ji inaugurated the first phase. Sangh Swayamsewaks sponsored the project, which is estimated to cost 100 crores.

The freshly appointed Governor of Assam, Hon'ble Gulab Chand Kataria, and Minister of State Parliamentary Affairs, Shree Arjun Meghwal, unveiled the Water and Laser Show at Pratap Gaurav Kendra Udaipur. This Laser and Water Show cost 7.5 crores to build and was funded by the central government's "Swadesh Darshan" programme.  The water laser show "Mewar Ki Shaurya Gatha" will be shown on a regular basis at Pratap Gaurav Kendra Udaipur. In this Water Laser Show, Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap’s life journey and Mewar’s history will be displayed.

According to Anurag Saxena (Director of Pratap Gaurav Kendra), two water laser shows would be organized every day, each lasting 28 minutes. Because the Pratap Gaurav Kendra closes at 6 p.m., this water laser show can be experienced separately. Each Water and Laser show at Pratap Gaurav Kendra will seat 200 people.

Bharat Darshan Dirgha at Pratap Gaurav Kendra: During 18 minute's light and sound show the representation of the vision of whole India. This section contains brief information about India's tales, rivers, and pilgrimage sites. In addition, the biography of Swami Vivekananda has been illustrated with precise explanation with 40 pictorial exhibitions.
