 What is E-mail?

The full form of E-mail is Electronic-Mail. It is also called E-mail, or Electronic mail. It is a type of digital message that a user uses to communicate with another user.

And this is the biggest form of communication in the present times. It is used more professionally.

 History of E-mail-

The work of email creation started around 1960. However, no solid foundation had yet been formed. Email developed a lot in the next 10 years. And made our existence. In 1971, a programmer of ARPANET, Mr. Ray Tomlinson, created a modern email. The email developed by him was easy to use and multi-functional. Meaning, you could send email from one computer to many other computers. Which is normal today. But this was not possible before 1970.

 What is an E-mail address or E-mail Id?

Email address is a unique ID, in which you can easily send and receive your message from anywhere, with the help of the internet.

There are two parts to any email address - the first part is your ID (which you can keep anything on your basis of availability) and the second domain name. These first part and second domain name parts are connected with @. For example - amit@yahoo.com, Amit is the first part of the email and yahoo.com is the domain name i.e. the second part.  How to send an E-mail?

Step 1- sing in your Gmail account

Step 2- click on Compose button (in the top left) for a new Email.

Step 3- A window open on the screen, here in the To field, write Recipient (receiver) Email Address.

Step 4- Enter the Subject of your Email.

Step 5- Then in the body section write your message.

Step 6- At the bottom Click on the Send button.

 Limitations of E-mail -

1. Must be knowledgeable of technology

If you want to use email then you have to learn about it first. you must have basic information about the basic computer, Internet and email provider, etc.

2. Internet dependency

To send and receive emails, you must have an internet connection or a data pack on your mobile phone. Only then you can use email.

3. File size constraints

You can send a file of a certain size by mail only. If the data available to you is more than the limit, then email is of no use to you.

4. Unknown and unsolicited email arrival

The biggest disadvantage of email is considered to be this. Once people know your Email ID, emails start coming from new people. These unsolicited and unsolicited emails are called SPAM in the language of technology.
