Bank Holidays in February 2024 in India: Due to the celebration of festivals and National & Ineternational Important Days in February 2024, banks will experience several holidays. If you have any urgent tasks to complete regarding the bank in such a case, complete it right away.

Banks will be closed on all national holidays and some regional holidays depending on the state, per guidelines from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The state administration determines regional holidays. There will be a total of more than 9 days off work in the February month as per the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) schedule of holidays.

All commercial and public sector banks in various states will be closed in India for 9 or more days in February 2024 as per the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) holiday schedule –

February 4, 2024: Sunday

February 10, 2024: Second Saturday

February 11, 2024: Sunday

February 14, 2024: Banks will be closed in Agartala, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata due to Basant Panchami/Saraswati Puja (Shree Panchami).

February 15, 2024: Banks will be closed in Imphal due to Lui-Ngai-Ni

February 18, 2024: Sunday

February 19, 2024: Banks will be closed in Belapur, Mumbai, Nagpur due to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti.

February 20, 2024: Banks will be closed in Aizawl, Itanagar, due to State Foundation Day

February 24, 2024: Fourth Saturday

February 25, 2024: Sunday

February 26, 2024: Banks will be closed in Itanagar due to Nyokum.

Bank holiday schedule may differ between different states, except for the observance of Second/Fourth Saturdays and Sundays holidays.


Note: Although banks are closed, consumers may still perform a variety of tasks online. Digital services like UPI, mobile banking, and internet banking are unaffected by bank vacations. In this case, holidays will not have any impact on your job if it can be completed online.
