World Health Day 2021

World Health Day 2021

Every year on the 7th of April whole world celebrates World Health Day. Every year there is a theme or campaign attach to this day last year it was “SUPPORT NURSES & MIDWIVES” and this year it is “BUILDING A FAIRER & HEALTHIER WORLD FOR EVERYONE”. The Date 7th of April is also associated with the anniversary of the founding of WHO in 1948. Since 1950 we are celebrating World Health Day on 7th April. World Health Day is celebrated to address the neglected but important health issues that are sickening the world.

Throughout the world, billions of people struggle to make day ends meet with very low daily income, also have very poor housing & education conditions, very few job opportunities. These people don't have access to a safe and healthier environment, clean water & air or food security. These all things push them towards the uninvited suffering, illness and premature death, which is ultimately loss of our society and economy as well. That’s why WHO has started an initiative and calling on world leaders so that they can ensure that everyone can have a good living home, working & good health conditions. WHO urges leaders that they provide good quality health services for those who don’t have the access to good health services. The whole world is still fighting COVID-19 and every nation trying its best to overcome this pandemic situation. But this pandemic hit really hard on those who have been already vulnerable, who are living in bad health conditions and doesn’t have access to good health services. This is our duty to provide them better health care facility so that they can have good health and this will also help us in the fight against Coronavirus.
