Available and Upcoming Electric Cars (EV) in India
Automobiles propelled by electric motors, which use only energy stored in batteries, are called electric cars, battery-electric cars, or all-electric cars. In comparison with internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, electric cars are quieter, emit fewer emissions, and are more fuel-efficient.
Compared to ICE vehicles, electric cars have a lower total cost of ownership because they require less fuel and maintenance. You can charge an electric car at many different charging stations, which can either be installed in houses or in public areas.
A major goal for India is to become the world's largest hub for electric vehicles. At the Auto Expo 2020, automakers showcased dozens of electric vehicles of different sizes and prices. The industry is undergoing a new wave of constant innovation as a result of the desire for electric vehicles, requiring more infrastructure to accommodate the demand of consumers. Check out our list of the best electric cars and SUVs available today on the market.
