Burj Khalifa

It is said that the design of the Burj Khalifa was derived from the Islamic Architecture of the region such as the Great Mosque of Samarra and its design is derived from Tower Palace III also. To optimize the residential and hotel space the Y-shaped tripartite geometry is included in the design. To support the height of the building a buttressed central core and wings are used. In summer temperature rises in Dubai so to encounter this situation a cladding system was added to the structure.

During the construction of this gigantic skyscraper the Emaar Developers faced some financial crisis so overcome this they required financial help. The ruler of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa helped the Emaar Developers by granting them funding.  The Burj Khalifa has received so many awards.
