Who is Athira Preetha Rahi?

Thiruvananthapuram native Athira Preetha, 24, was born to V Venu and Preetha. Apparently, Athira Preetha was always interested in space programs, which she expanded her knowledge of through lectures she attended at Kerala's Astra astronomical club.

Her work and academics were balanced by her determination to do what she wanted in life. Her scholarship to study robotics brought her to Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada, at a young age.

It is reported that she has always desired to become a pilot. In addition to completing her training at the flying school, she finished her robotics course with honors. Also at this time, Athira P Rahi married the love of her life and founded a space-related company with her husband. Exo Geo Aerospace Company was then founded.

Her husband Gokul Das Balachandran and Preetha already owned a space company, so she began researching astronaut training programs. Ultimately, Preetha was accepted into the International Institute of Aeronautical Science.

Athira Rahi is currently the co-founder and chief strategy officer of Talent Remote, a global tech individuals’ network that helps businesses locate and keep highly qualified workers while enabling job-ready talent to find meaningful employment.

In addition to receiving the Wayne McIntyre award for leadership and a winter scholarship from Algonquin College, Athira P was also featured in an international campaign called #sherunsspace.

ExoGeo Aerospace Inc chief executive officer Athira Preetha Rahi announced her selection to the extensive program on LinkedIn.
